Brief history of the company:

The company was incorporated on august 31st, 1998 as a Private Limited Company in Karachi, Pakistan. The Company is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and export of knitted and woven apparel to the American market.

The Company has begun operations in its new premises from 15th January 2000 and has installed 105 Brand new machinery in the premises.

From 15th May 2003 Victory Sports Wear has started its unit II as Victory II with 40 Brand new machines.

Sponsors and management Background:

The Plant is sponsored and manage by the M.E.Dadabhoy family and Mrs.Jamila Rafi and family.

The Sponsors of this new project have both been pioneers in the field of industry and manufacturing since the inception of Pakistan in 1947. They all have vast experience, collectively over 20 different industries, in manufacturing.

This experience in manufacturing and the setting up of manufacturing units in Pakistan has created a great network of connections in business and other related communities for the sponsors.

If the past can be treated as an indicator then this grouping of resources should be very favorable for the future of Victory Sportswear.

Near future plans:

Since inception, Victory Sportswear has performed well with regular meetings with European and American buyer’s compliance requirements and their manufacturing quality standards, now in the process to bring up the performance and management standards to R.A.P. qualifications.

We also hope to make Victory Sportswear one of the state of the art stitching units in Pakistan with our open access to Vision International's (50% share in the company) integrated Dye house and open width Interknit fabric finishing line.

The Company has plans over the next two years to expand its working capacity from 105 to 300 stitching machines.
